"The ONE With A Plan"

I am a native of Northampton, more importantly I'm a father. I'd like to see Northampton become affordable for many of us already living here. To keep Northampton affordable for our sons and daughters. Keeping jobs here, bring in additional business. To have our kids receive the best education possible in a stable effective learning environment. For the city to be responsible with our taxpayer dollars we all work so hard for.

A campaign built on Four pillars:

• Efficient Government – Starts with a higher standard of accountability. A forensic audit of the city's accounting and/or financial records. Economic responsibility, once audit has been completed, only then can we build a solid foundation for our city to grow and prosper. Update the city master plan for specific objectives that promote the city's future in a organized manner.

• Economic Independence – Reducing taxes, removing unnecessary regulation. Encourage vibrant Mom and Pop business development. Planned mixed use development to promote walkable downtown areas including Florence & Leeds, for a sustainable tax base. This includes residential housing, office space, retail, industrial. Expand entertainment venues, use facilities that are sitting unused.

• Education Standards – Gather input from ALL residents, so our education system can be transformed to meet the needs of today's students and prepare them for a successful future. Visit educational models other than traditional. Use existing methods showing how a student learns.

• Maintenance & Infrastructure - It's always more cost effective to maintain our city infrastructure, but it's not happening. I see infrastructure left to deteriorate beyond repair. Replacement is expensive. Review Mass-Transit, public bussing, trolley cars & trams, to travel the city, this will promote less traffic, better air quality, walkable spaces, less damage to our roads and more.
